Soccer stories.....

So, Olivia and Michael finished up their summer soccer league. They both had so much FUN!
They really enjoyed playing together on the same team:)
Isaac can't wait to play soccer (next year), he was showing off his moves. He REALLY wanted to stand on the ball. He tried over and over........
The result over and over......What a silly kid!

Forts and Legos

The Kiddos woke up yesterday and went to work constructing a fort. What is more fun than a fort? I loved listening to the kids giggle as they crawled around in the dark. While Olivia and Isaac enjoyed the fort, Michael did his own construction. This boy LOVES Legos, he creates so many different things, maybe he will be an engineer.......
Isaac messing up the fort, and yes, that is writing on the wall done artistically by Isaac. Someday I won't turn around and find a new artistic drawing on a piece of furniture or on the wall. The best was when I found a little hangman on the wall behind the toilet (Olivia).....what silly kids we have:)

Bike Riding

We have been thinking about teaching our kids how to ride without training wheels. We tried to teach Michael last year, but it scared him. Then the kids saw their friends doing it and they have talked about it non-stop since then!! So, yesterday and today we went to a school with a track for the kids to ride around on. Michael learned in about 5 minutes. Olivia took a little longer, but two days and she has got it down. Isaac just loves pushing his little bike and running as fast as he can. Waylon helping Isaac ride his big bike. Isaac is very cautious when it comes to new things, but was ESPECIALLY cautious after watching Michael and Olivia fall yesterday. He would only stay on the bike and pedal if Waylon was holding the handlebars (yes the bike has training wheels)
Michael and Olivia-go Speed Racers! It is all about the competition. Michael learned quicker but Olivia has amazing Speed!

The kids love their new discovery. Michael says we just need to move closer to school so he can ride his bike there everyday! Olivia never wants to stop, she just loves riding and riding.

Camping........

So, Last week we went camping with some friends. We had a blast, we went to Fishhook and the weather and mosquito's cooperated:) What luck. And what is camping without some football??? (Answer=Duncan's always play the football after the tent is set up:) There was a great swimming area and Michael tried out his new goggles. He was so excited to buy these with his "own" money so that he would not have to plug his nose anymore underwater.
Olivia Lounging after playing in the sun for a while, what can I say.......she's adorable:D
When we went swimming, we found MUD! Isaac loved playing in it and would walk around put his arms up and say (in a deep voice) "I'm gonna make mud pies....I'm gonna make mud pies"
There was this cool seahorse, the kids loved climbing up it and feeling like they were on top of the world. Olivia is in front and Michael is climbing up the back.
We had a great time:) It was the first time in seven years we didn't have a baby or two year old camping and we SO enjoyed it!!

The cutest Landon.......

So, we had some awesome visitors last week! My Mom, Dad, Mandy, Landon and Nathan. What a blast, nothing else could describe these visitors. And, oh my gosh and I am in love with Landon.....he is so adorable!!
My Dad with Landon with the magical walk that puts Landon to sleep every time. My Dad is the best. This picture is classic Dad, crooked glasses or sticking his hair up (when he had some) he is lovable:) Nothing is BETTER than a hug from my Dad!!

I love coming from such a big family. So many awesome siblings, so much fun and never a dull moment. I was so happy to see Mandy and Nate (of course they rock!).
What can I say about one of my favorite people----Mother, you are awesome, my dear friend, an awesome example and so much fun:)
Since Michael was born he has been attached to Nate the Great (my bro)......Michael adores him and Nate is always ready to play with the kids or get a good game going. Really, Nate is my baby, I was 14 when he was born. I don't know how much actual help I was but I LOVED that baby
The fourth of July was HOT! (106) but we had a great time at the parade in Pasco. The kids loved getting candy. Really, truthfully, this year, I discovered the parade is all about the candy! I enjoy the reason for the 4th of July and the friendliness that seems to be in the air at a parade! After sitting at the parade for 1 and 1/2 hours we retreated inside to the a/c and later on went bowling and went to watch the fireworks.

Waylon and I being silly (no, that never happens!). The sunset was beautiful so while the kids played at the park, we took some self-portraits. The first one Waylon is making a silly kissing face and I was laughing, then he got made at me for not being serious, so we took the above picture and look who is not being serious now. We didn't get the sunset very well, but it was BEAUTIFUL! The kids played with their flashlights in the dark while we waited and we chose a park where we could see all of the fireworks in the Tri-Cities without the loud noise (Olivia and Isaac can't handle it) and the crazy traffic. We were home in less than five minutes....awesome!
Olivia watching the fireworks! What a busy month it has been so far, but a fun one!!!

The Big Birthday

Yes, Isaac and I have the same birthday!! The whole time I was pregnant with him I said ANY DAY but MY Birthday. Then He came and it has been great. I love sharing my birthday with him. Yes, I know I will be eating Spiderman cake on my Birthday for many years! It's okay as long as it is chocolate:)
Silly boys enjoying their cake. Isaac poses this way whenever we take his picture....Waylon and I jokingly call it his gang sign. It just defines him and NEVER changes.

Now you have to understand at the Duncan's -when it is your birthday you get as much cake as you want. It is great! Well, Isaac had eaten two pieces and we cut him off-he was not happy! So, Isaac (with the help of his older siblings telling him all week) decided he wanted to go to chuck e cheese for his birthday and go to the build a bear workshop. So, off to chuck e cheese we went and we had so much fun.

Waylon playing skee ball. Now you have to understand Waylon hearts skee ball......seriously, he loves to play it and win the big jackpot and get a lot of tickets for the kids. Well, he won the jackpot (look below) and was very excited!!!

It turns out that the build a bear workshop closed in the mall (okay, now you can tell how often we go there)....so, we were forced to skip that. So, for my part of the day, I decided I wanted to go out to dinner (anything to get out of cooking!). I decided on Olive Garden. It was so good and the company was great!!

Our self portrait waiting to be seated. Overall, it was a great birthday.
Waylon made me breakfast (french toast-my favorite!) and even did the dishes. So, that was HUGE! If you don't know, Waylon just does not do dishes, he will do many other things around the house, but bottom line, he really really really dislikes the dishes. I guess that just makes it really special when he does (Many, Many, Many times when I was pregnant and when I had surgery).
Although I am still adjusting to being 29 (30 has never looked so close!!!!), it was a great day and I can't believe Isaac is three. Waylon and I were talking about how we would never again have a two year old. Weird!
