Recent Happenings

 Michael earning 3 Merit Badges-Citizenship in the World, Citizenship in the Nation and Fire Safety.

 Michael also earned his Scout Badge and Tenderfoot. So Happy about about all of the good things Michael is learning and doing!

 Olivia has been hard at work making duct tape cuff bracelets for Marketplace at school. Marketplace is where the students get to run a business--they can sell things they have made. The students get Marketplace Dollars throughout the year by turning in homework, and doing good deeds.

All I know this Life is good.

Mothers Day

 Woke up to breakfast in bed made by the adorable Waylon. YUM!

 Then the kids did the dishes. they are SO CUTE.

 They made me cards and cards and poems and homemade gifts and 

it was just so lovely 

(these are the highlight of Mother's Day--oh and when they sing in Sacrament Meeting)

 Then, I shared my chocolates with them. 

I am so grateful for these sweet children that Heavenly father has entrusted to Waylon and I. 

They make my heart happy every.single.day.

Fishing

 We had so much fun fishing this weekend!

 Olivia got all of the fiesty fish that fought and fought and fought. She held her ground

 Love the face. Unsure about the stinky, smelly fish.

 So, MJ stepped in to help her hold it up!

 Biggest catch of the day belonged to Olivia.

A great day for lots of good memories. 

We headed home to our A/C and had delicious fresh grilled fish for dinner.
