Simplicity

I love this picture.....

I love that is black and white.

I love its simplicity.

I love the feeling I get when I look at it.

This week, I am focusing on simplicity.

Getting back to the basics

Letting everything else fall away.

I am so grateful for my sweet family

For my hubby who is amazing and who I am still very much in love with

{kinda magical, isn't it?}

I am grateful for Spring,

for the sun and plan on spending much more time basking in all it's glory.

I am grateful for my Savior, I know when I trust in him, all is well

{even when it is actually complete chaos}

Happy Friday;)

Life is Good!

Today.....I am tired. I guess three 9+ hours days of Body combat training are finally catching up to me! It was a blast. I love the body combat program:) It also pushed me mentally, physically and emotionally. By the last day I was DONE! I get to participate in Launch next week at my gym, so I am excited for that:)

We went to the science fair last night. Michael and Olivia both got a medal {nice work guys}. I brought my camera and was all excited to take a picture of the kids with their projects and my camera wouldn't turn on. Lovely. Really?

Okay, so we decided to just take a picture later. Then Olivia was going to show us hers and the director from the local children's museum asked if she could display it at the museum. Olivia was SUPER excited and quickly agreed. She has been beaming ever since then:) I am so glad. She always works really hard and has a hard time not comparing herself to Michael. So, sometimes she gets frustrated because she is not at the level he is. This was a GREAT experience for her!!! I'm so glad:) She is really awesome and needs believe it more herself!

So, here's to today.......although I am very tired

(I see a lot of relaxing happening today)

Training

So, I have been practicing and practicing and practicing kickboxing over and over before I go to my official training this weekend. My kids have been doing it with me. They love it!! It wears them out and they have a blast doing it! Olivia especially loves it and asks if we can practice everyday when she gets home from school. One day, she told me me belly was getting smaller (bless her!!), she asked me why and I said it is because I have been exercising regularly and trying to eat healthier. Now every time we do kickboxing or does anything when she gets her heart rate up, she comments about how much smaller her belly is. Luckily, she is still very innocent and unconcerned about her appearance. Of which I am very grateful! I know it is very hard for girls!! We try to talk only about eating healthy, exercising, and talking care of our body. Yes, it's hard for me but I try to talk positively about my body (something I struggle with). She CRACKS me up every time she is out of breath and says, I can feel my tummy getting smaller.
