One of our favorite past times

This is what we do everynight. We read on the big purple couch. We have read to our kids (or now they read) every night since they were babies. This is what the Duncans are all about:)

The kid in all of us.

We love to go for a walk on Sunday afternoon's by the River and then go to the park. Olivia loves this toy--she plays on it forever (it spins round and round) and never gets sick. The boys at their favorite ship (Waylon is wearing Michael's jacket on his head)

The kids love it when Daddy makes the ship rock back and forth!

Olivia joins the fun and now on to their favorite game, Waylon is the sea monster and he rocks the boat and tries to get them.
The sea Monster got two of them! Waylon has just as much fun as the kids (if not more)!

Olivia loves to climb on the rocks that circle the playground.......she goes round and round and has the best imagination.

Had to get a picture of my cutie!! Now I know where our kiddos get their silly poses.....I love this man!

Egg Hunt

I was so happy to have a DVR so I could record conference and still make it to the Easter Egg Hunt. I love egg hunts and after Olivia's hosptial stay I was exhausted and didn't have the time or energy to put on together. But, it was FREEZING. We had on all of our winter stuff and we were still cold! Olivia was the only one who would go near the Easter Bunny.
Waiting to run and get some eggs! Easter was a great day. Listened to Conference, had a great family dinner. I asked the kids what Easter was about when we were sitting talking and Olivia said, "Jesus" and then Michael said it right after her. So I asked Olivia why is Easter about Jesus? She said, "Because Jesus Loves us and wants us to have fun!" Really? Granted we hadn't had a Easter lesson yet when I asked them I was just suprised, that's all. She is so funny

Coloring Eggs!

I decided to just take the after picture since it was so crazy during the actual egg coloring! That is Michael looking scary, huh, he was being so silly.
Now, Michael gomer, Olivia sweet and Isaac irritated that we are taking a picture.

Finally a smile from Michael, Olivia is cute and now Isaac is really mad! You would've thought I took lots of pictures, instead of just 3!

Spring Break Vaca

For Spring Break we wanted to see all of the fam--starting at my sister Leslie's with Rebekah's baptism. Olivia and Rebekah are just so cute....it had to be the picture that started off this long post.
CUTE Landon! With a ball (of course) I think he is related to Isaac!
Noah has grown so much and is so adorable-Emma loved playing with the Babies.
Cute Nadine, Gene and Ma
Da Boys playing hard (Nathan, Michael, Isaiah and Elias)
My Mom described these three boys a while back as the triple threat and the name has stuck!
After Rebekah Lyn's baptism~The Wilson and Spencer Families-missing Jacob, Lydia, Michael Mandy and Landon--I only say it because we aren't complete without you!!
Emma and Rachael-always such a snuggle bunny-like her mom!
Michael being Michael-playing hard with a big smile!
cousins, best friends--definitely enough room on this scooter for both of us!!
Emma taking a pic of Landon
Cute.
The cousins (minus baby Landon)
Isaac and Ben are fast friends! They love eachother and can you believe they are only nine months apart??
Mandy, Rachael, and Nadine. I am so blessed to have such awesome sisters and brothers--I was naming them off yesterday really fast, Michael was SO impressed with me.
All of those pictures were from Saturday.....here is where Sunday begins. We went to see Grandpa Grant. He is just so special and I am so grateful to have the chance to see him and get a good hug!! Olivia agrees:)

Rachael, Grandpa Grant and Olivia. We had a great visit with Grandpa, Vivian and Suzzy. Then we headed over to see Grandma Lois. It was a great day and I just experienced so much nostalgia and gratitude that I was raised by great parents, had great siblings and lived close to my grandparents so I knew them. Good Memories. Grandma Lois fed us dinner and had lots of brownies and cake--Just had to get some pictures of Isaac being crazy hyped up on sugar eating cake. He is so funny!
Yum, chocolate! It was so funny Amy took a vidoe of it on her camera (I still don't know how to do that on mine yet!) and we watched it over and over and laughed so hard (especially Olivia)...
Then time for games, Olivia, Amy, Michael and I played Rack-o. Isaac watched a cartoon and Waylon slept.
David, Andy, Nathan and Grandma played pinocle (of course!). Because that is what we do, we play pinocle!
Had to get some pictures with Grandma-Nate, Grandma, AndyIsaac trying to get away-Smily Duncan and Grandma
Grandma and Princess Olivia
Michael being silly while we played games.

Then came Monday which we were planning on going to River Front park with Gene, but the day started off with Olivia throwing up. Both her and Isaac do this sometimes when they just become so full of mucus (they both have allergies and asthma--Olivia has it much worse) their body ejects it (sorry not a pretty picture I know). And she had a slight fever. She kept down tylenol and tons of fluids for several hours then she threw up again, only now her fever was at 102, so we decided to take her to the ER. She did not look good and her whole right side hurt really bad. By the time we got to the ER her temp was 104 and although they gave her medicine, it barely came down at all 103.5 it was pretty scary. Both Isaac and Olivia have had Bronchitis and Pneumonia, but this was a whole new level. The chest x-ray came back and confirmed she had a severe pneumonia and it was very inflammed in two places making her nauseous and her right side hurt really bad. They told us she would stay overnight. We ended up staying three days, but when we left, Olivia was doing much better and her white blood cells were down from 33 to 16--highest normal is 15. Amy and David put us up the whole time, they were great hosts. The kids were disappointed because we had planned on going to Triple Play (a huge indoor water park and riding all of the rides at Riverfront park and going to the Imax, and we were going to spend a day with Nadine and her family, one with Leslie and her family, and then head to Pullman to spend time with Waylon's family and see my Parents. It was disappointing, but we were just all so glad that our princess got well and is still doing good. Olivia, as she was getting release, kept asking if she could spend the night with her cousins and go the carnival (riverfront park).....silly girl, you need to go home and rest!

Isaac was very worried about Olivia staying at the hospital and always asked me or Waylon (we switched being at hospital and being with the boys). He was so sweet when he would ask if she was okay and if she was going to have to stay there forever. What a sweetheart.

So, we came back tired, worn out and happy to be home with a healthy girl!

Sneak attack

A few weeks ago Waylon had a training meeting he had to go to during the week, so he didn't have to go to work so early. So, I left Isaac at home with Waylon while I went to workout. Then later that week, I was looking on my camera and this is what I found.....

I was trying to figure out what these pictures were from (and there were many, many more).......oh, before I tell you what happened, I should mention Isaac is not allowed into Michael's room while he is gone at school because Michael spends hours and hours building lego creations and other treasures, and you know how little brothers are, those precious creations are destroyed in 2.5 seconds. Okay back to the story! I show the pictures to Isaac and ask him what they are and he said, "that was my sneak attack, dad didn't see" Isaac was so pleased with himself-sneaking the camera without dad noticing and then getting into Michael's room and it is so funny that he took pictures of all of the legos instead of destroying them. I love moments like these that are just so funny! Isaac you crack me up:)

March time

These are the hardest days--when the kids have been sick and are waiting 24 hours after the fever has gone to send them back to school. My kids are always going crazy on these days!! so, what do we do? Lego fun! I love Olivia in this pic.
Olivia and Isaac making Lego soup (and of course being silly)
And the silliness continues......
The boys playing at the mall play area~posing of course. They crack me up when they are always posing.....
Olivia in the play house at the mall. We always have fun playing at new places!
