Sneak attack

A few weeks ago Waylon had a training meeting he had to go to during the week, so he didn't have to go to work so early. So, I left Isaac at home with Waylon while I went to workout. Then later that week, I was looking on my camera and this is what I found.....

I was trying to figure out what these pictures were from (and there were many, many more).......oh, before I tell you what happened, I should mention Isaac is not allowed into Michael's room while he is gone at school because Michael spends hours and hours building lego creations and other treasures, and you know how little brothers are, those precious creations are destroyed in 2.5 seconds. Okay back to the story! I show the pictures to Isaac and ask him what they are and he said, "that was my sneak attack, dad didn't see" Isaac was so pleased with himself-sneaking the camera without dad noticing and then getting into Michael's room and it is so funny that he took pictures of all of the legos instead of destroying them. I love moments like these that are just so funny! Isaac you crack me up:)

March time

These are the hardest days--when the kids have been sick and are waiting 24 hours after the fever has gone to send them back to school. My kids are always going crazy on these days!! so, what do we do? Lego fun! I love Olivia in this pic.
Olivia and Isaac making Lego soup (and of course being silly)
And the silliness continues......
The boys playing at the mall play area~posing of course. They crack me up when they are always posing.....
Olivia in the play house at the mall. We always have fun playing at new places!

Okay, I surrender

A few days ago it began....the coughing. Now any mother with asthmatic kids knows there is coughing like everyday of the year...this was all night and hasn't stopped since then. So, today the kids stayed home from school so we broke out the Lego's....they played for hours and had lots of fun. A little bit of this And a little bit of that is what we do when the kiddos are sick.

They seem to be getting better (always takes Olivia the longest) when I call Waylon and work and he tells me he doesn't feel good. So, this is me surrendering to the sickness that is plaguing our house. See you when we come out of it!

Hard Working Cub Scout

Michael had been working feverishly on his cub scout requirements for Wolf. He is very self motivated to complete the requirements and can never get enough. He has been begging me since his birthday to make a outdoor meal ....it was just so cold......so, this week we planned it out
Today we headed to the park so he could complete the requirements. They were all fascinated with the BBQ tools and loved helping daddy.
FIRE!!!
The smiling chef!
Olivia starting taking some pictures and was having a great time. I really was happy, I promise, it was just bright with the beautiful sunshine.
Olivia LOVED this tree....
taking pictures of her silly daddy (can you say seafood??)
Isaac decided to pose (yes, on top of the table) so Olivia would snap some pics of him.
What a silly guy!
Michael also worked on picking up liter. He was amazed by how much there was. He said, "why don't people just throw this in the garbage can-it's right there." Good Question!! One that I have never understood.
This is how much garbage he found! Nice work bud!!

We had a GREAT day at the park!! Olivia and Isaac were coughing all night and didn't sleep very well, so they both took a nap when we got home. Nothing like a fun, lazy Saturday!!

Spring has sprung:)

They were just so cute playing together before church I had to snap a pic. Spring is here (maybe) and now we can go outside for longer than 20 minutes.
Yesterday we went to the park for over 3 hours and it was so much fun. The kids played and played and didn't fight or whine (YAY)....it was joyous! I think they are growing up a little....
Our Monkey...so good she can do the monkey bars backwards (I'm impressed)
What a cutie!! I just love love love the sunshine and the days getting longer. Happy Spring!

Happy Friday!

I just have been thinking a lot the last few days and my conclusion, of course, is that life is so good!! I have been so blessed with a great hubby. Our three kidlets are just awesome and I love being their mother everyday!! I love serving in Young Women. You would think all of the work would be hard (okay, I didn't mean to say it was easy-it's not) I just LOVE the Young Women and the other leaders I am privileged to work with!! Good Way to start a Friday with all of these great thoughts floating around. Now on to working out.....

You & Me; Me & You

Love has just been on my mind lately! I must say I has been very blessed to be married to my best friend and an absolutely continually amazing man! I found this quote by Emily Bronte that I just loved!! Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same. Simple. But I like it.
